Managed Hosting Clients: WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates are automatically applied at no additional cost.

Self-Managed Hosting Clients: Sheboygan Web Hosting may apply critical updates at no charge to protect overall server security.

Updates will not alter your website content or layout. If a conflict arises, we’ll notify and assist you.

Third-Party Plugins, Themes & Licensing

Many websites built or maintained by Sheboygan Web Hosting rely on professional third-party plugins, themes, or software tools that require annual license renewals set by the original developer.

These third-party licensing costs are not included in the base Managed Hosting fee unless specifically listed in writing.

By using our Service, you agree that:

  • Required plugin, theme, or software license fees will be billed to You at cost.
  • Licenses may be renewed by Sheboygan Web Hosting to maintain site functionality, security, and updates.
  • If You decline a required renewal, portions of the website may lose features, security updates, or compatibility.
  • Sheboygan Web Hosting is not responsible for issues caused by expired, declined, or discontinued third-party licenses.

At our discretion, licensing costs may be:

  • Billed as a separate line item, or
  • Included within a Website Care Plan or maintenance agreement.

Refund Policy

Hosting and Subscription Services: Billed in advance, non-refundable except where required by law.

Domain Registrations and Renewals: Non-refundable once registered or renewed.

Governing Law

The laws of the United States apply to this agreement, excluding conflict of law rules.
